CARE Fund Grants

Support CARE

We are a small organization, and your contributions make our work possible.  Our regular operations are funded by Annual Dues, while special donations support the CARE Fund, our charitable fund that is dedicated to assisting the colleges:
 

Annual Dues

Although CARE extends membership to all retirees without charge, we depend entirely on your $10 dues payments to support our programs of activity on your behalf:

• public voice and representation for retirees

• newsletter to keep you up to date

• this website and member directory

• social events, including the reunion

• administration of the CARE fund

Please contribute your dues payment now - it is crucial to our continued operation.

The Dues form provides the details.  Please enclose it with your check.
 

The CARE Fund

The CARE Fund is the source of our charitable activities and is designed to provide an extra measure of support to the colleges in the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. Each year the CARE Fund, subject to ample donations and investment returns, gives money to each of the colleges. Currently, fund proceeds are being allocated through the new CARE Special Grants Program. Private donations help in a small way to ease the financial burdens being experienced. Please be as generous as you can this year to assist our colleges.  

Complete the CARE Fund Form.   Make your check payable to Chabot-LPC Foundation and in the "For:" section in the lower left, write in CARE Fund. Then send the completed form along with your check to the address indicated on the Form.
